Rita decided to turn her ceramic hobby into a business on January 2021 when she found she was actually pretty good at it! She has been loving how much she has learned and continues to learn about it over the years. She's met many awesome people from different shops who have helped her learn and help with ideas.
Rita has two boys Benjamin and Theodore who happen to be twins that already keep her life busy. If you thought a business and two crazy children were enough you'd be wrong because we also have a four legged member in our family, so Rita isn't the only girl in the household, named Stormfly. That still isn't enough for this woman though because she also drives a mini bus for CAPCC! She likes the job and it has a gap in between runs for her ceramics plus helps fund it while she works out kinks. She also likes to try and help out in her community if she can because she wants to help make a brighter future for her children, nieces, and nephews.
The main reason she's able to usually help hold herself together through all this is her husband Ben. Who was the first one who came across some slip casting molds unknowingly ones to have the ability to make her favorite pieces that her own mother made for them back when she was little. He does his best to make the job as simple/ easy as he can for her and only lends a hand if she is hurt or just is truly exhausted but has decided to pour a large mold that day. He's the muscle if needed but mostly everything is done my her two hands because she's that kind of woman. Her favorite thing is probably doing classes where the same pieces get painted differently and opening the kiln after a good kiln firing. She loves seeing what creativity others have.
